ComiqueCon Harassment Policy
ComiqueCon has a ZERO tolerance policy for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:
- Offensive verbal comments
- Non-consensual photography or recording
- Unwelcome physical attention
- Physical assault
- Sustained disruption of panels, artist meet-and- greet, and other events
- Inappropriate physical contact
- Unauthorized access in private areas
This policy is in relation to, but not limited to:
- Gender identity
- Sexual orientation
- Body size
ComiqueCon reserves the right to take action against any person who engages in harassing behavior. This may include expulsion from the event without refund. This policy applies to EVERYONE at ComiqueCon (exhibitors, fans, attendees, panelists, guests, media, staff, volunteers and security personnel). Anyone can report harassment. If someone’s behavior has made you uncomfortable, or if you witness the same happening to someone else, you should immediately contact ComiqueCon staff or a volunteer. You may also report the incident by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cosplay is not consent. If you would like to take a picture with a ComiqueCon guest or another fan, remember to always ask first and be respectful of another person’s right to say “No.” ComiqueCon strives to provide a safe, fun environment for all attendees to come together and celebrate women in comics. We encourage you to have fun with other fans, but please be mindful of others in attendance.
